It is very inspiring to put on Tefillin with people in public places. Many of these Jews are unaffiliated, but they show their Jewish pride by putting on Tefillin in front of everyone. It is especially important to do this when there is a war in the Land of Israel. It says that by putting on Tefillin, the nations of the world see that G-d’s Name is called upon us, and they become scared of us. The Rebbe King Moshiach Shlita tells us this and encourages us to put on Tefillin with more and more Jews.
