Singing To Hashem Is Our Constant Mode

Bitachon Weekly | June 27, 2025

אז ישיר – אשירה לה' means “I will sing”, in the future. The same with the end of the Passuk: אשירה לה' “I will sing to Hashem”. Why do we talk about the future? The truth is that the message of: אז ישיר is that we don’t just sing once at Kriyas Yam Suf. Singing has to be our constant mode, like Chazal say that a person should thank Hashem for every single breath of air! We always sing. We can also explain based on the Sefer Ha'Ikarim who says that the greatest: חבַש praise you can give Hashem is having Bitachon in Him. Having Bitachon is much more than praising. When you have Bitachon, you are unafraid about your scary future since you are sure that Hashem will help you.
