Question: Dear Rabbi Mandel. Thank you for all your shiurim on TorahAnytime. They constantly uplift and inspire me to be a better person. I have an older single niece (who has 2 single sisters right behind her) and I wanted to know what might be a good thing to take on or do together with all my sisters-in-law as a Zechus for her to find her bashert? Also, we have a learning group every morning, and we say a few names that the learning should be a Zechus for, and I’m wondering if when we add names to it does that take away any Zechusim from everyone else on the list? Thank you again for everything
Answer: I don’t think it takes away at all. The more the merrier. If you believe it’s going to work, it’ll work for the whole world.
Now, that’s if you have other people in mind when you do one thing. But, these sisters, I saw a write-up, and it’s very powerful. If they and the whole family can go ahead and thank for everything and anything, for a long time, this is a tremendous Zechus; and watch them all get engaged. There were older singles between the ages of 28 – 32, three of them in one family, who after 3 months, where the whole family got together and just got busy thanking Hashem day and night for all kinds of things, they all got engaged. That’s a very powerful story, and there's a lot of truth in that. Hatzlacha Gedola
