Lag Baomer

Lag Baomer, the 33rd day of the Omer counting, is the anniversary of passing of Rabi Shimon bar Yochai, author of the Zohar. On this day, before passing away, he revealed the deep secrets of the Torah. He asked that his day of passing should be celebrated. The Rebbe King Moshiach Shlita encourages making parades on Lag Baomer.
