Seforim HaKedoshim say that the seven Haftoros read on the seven Shabbosos after Tisha B’Av, until Rosh Hashonoh, are a preparation for Malchios - Crowning of Hashem as our King, and King of the whole world, on Rosh Hashonoh. During this time Hashem comforts us upon the destruction of The Beis HaMikdosh which stood in Yerusholayim, may it be rebuilt speedily in our days. And we reply, by Crowning Hashem as King of the whole world on Rosh Hashonoh. As we conclude in the reading of Eichoh, [25:21], and so too during Davening.

Bring us back, to You, Hashem, and we shall return, Renew our days as of old!
