Record Intoxication at Royal Party

Once again groups of drunkards were seen leaving the never-ending royal party staggering along and singing silly songs—again and again and again... day in and day out.

As the king’s party enters its third month, Shushan residents have become fed-up with the nightly disturbances and wild behavior. “My little baby has not slept in weeks and (yawn) neither have I,” complained a tired Mrs. Shoshana Shoe-Shiner. “Every time she finally, finally, finally (yawn) falls asleep, (yawn) she is woken up by the intolerable, unbearable, excruciating, piercing racket coming from the royal palace.
