Rustiko is a high-quality restaurant with sophisticated takes on favorite foods. Some delicious items on the menu: personal pizza with smoked gouda cheese and pesto, baked spaghetti squash served in its shell and topped with sauces and cheese, and pumpkin ravioli. They are very flexible about modifying items according to your specifications. Their extra effort to use the freshest, highest quality ingredients also results in a higher level of Kosher. Upon speaking to the Kosher supervisor, we were impressed to hear that they make their own breadcrumbs from bread baked on site and bake their own pumpkin for the pumpkin ravioli. Since these items are made in an establishment with a Kosher supervisor who turns on the oven and stove every day, the breadcrumbs are Pas Yisroel (cooked by a Jew) and the pumpkin is Bishul Yisroel (cooked by a Jew). Rustiko doesn’t take shortcuts by using packaged products which may not have the same level of Kosher supervision. Their commitment to quality is reflected both in the freshness and the Kosher level!
