Record Setting Road Trip

The Parsha Post | June 25, 2025

Official officials at the Guinness Scroll of Records have announced that several million Israelites, have set a new record for the longest road trip ever: 40 years and 42 stops, across the windswept dunes of the Sinai Peninsula!

“Looking back, that was some trip,” said Henny Hindsight. “We followed our DPS (Divine Positioning System), which really kept us on our toes. We never knew in advance where we were going or how long we would stay.”

“And let’s not forget our daily, delightful, delicious, delectable Lechem Min HaShamayim,” remarked TNS food critic, Esty Essenbentch. “It was absolute Heaven!”

“And I remember leaving Egypt when I was a young lad,” added Shalom Shlepperman. “Now, after 40 years of wandering, this marathon trip will finally end as we soon enter the Promised Land. On behalf of our family and tribe, I would like to personally thank our Sponsor in Heaven for making this a reality.”
