The Battle Against Leumas Zeh and the Role of Divine Intervention

And this is the objective of the battle of B’nei Yisroel (רִיבָּם - their battle) that they need to wage war against the 'Leumas Zeh and to ensure that there should not even be the possibility for evil to exist and subsequently there will be no nurture to the ‘Leumas Zeh’.

And when the spiritual Avodah of Yisroel is as it is supposed to be then all the abundance is extended to them even in the material world, as the Possuk states: אִם בְחֻקֹתַי תֵׂלֵׂכוּ ..... וְנָּתַתִי גִשְמֵׂיכֶם בְעִתָּם ..." If you will follow my decrees ...then I will provide your ‘Gashmius’ rains in their time.

Possuk states: Vayikra (26:3-4) אִּם בְחֻקֹתַי תֵלֵכוּ וְאֶּת מִּצְוֹתַי תִּשְמְרוּ וַעֲשִּיתֶּם אֹתָם: וְנָתַתִּי גִּשְמֵיכֶּם בְעִּתָם וְנָתְנָה הָאָרֶּץ יְבוּלָהּ וְעֵץ הַשָדֶּה יִּתֵן פִּרְ יוֹ: “If you follow My statutes and observe My commandments and perform them: I will give your rains in their time, the Land will yield its produce, and the tree of the field will give forth its fruit.”

Follow my decrees: By keeping the Torah and Mitzvos.

Avodas HaShem: Missing from one’s Serving and worshipping HaShem in that the spiritual war with the ‘Le’umas Zeh’ is not being carried out appropriately.

Golus: Exile. If one is not fighting the evil, then the evil is growing and strengthening. If one is not consciously pushing himself to better his Judaism, then he is falling and that is a state of exile. But if one is focused on bettering his relationship with HaShem and one is working on that connection then he appreciates the benefit of where he is, and he is not living in exile. Even if exile is around him.
