This explains the phraseology in the 'Al Hanissim prayer עָּמַדְתָּ לָּהֶם בְעֵׂת צָּרָּתָּם: רַבְתָּ אֶת רִיבָּם כוּ׳ You stood by them in their time of distress, You waged their wars..., For this itself is an impetus from above for each and every Jew in any situation and any predicament in which he might find himself, even if it be in a low spiritual status, the Hamshocha is there, descending from above by way of Isarussa Dil eilah' to fight the war with the 'Le'umas Zeh.'
Pushing the Impurities Away
And the 'Shove' pushing them away is not a refinement and an elevation to Kedusha (as was explained earlier in regards to the unique virtue of the lights of the Chanukah Menorah amongst other Mitzvos of our sages of blessed memory.

As in the situation the B’nei Yisroel were in at the time of the decrees from the Hellenists בְּעֵת צָרָתָם in the time of their distress.
