One Who Forgives Others is Forgiven

The Way of Emunah | June 27, 2025

Sefer Ach Pri Tevuah explains this pasuk by quoting the Gemara (Rosh Hashana 17A) says: “If someone rises above his personal considerations, all of his sins are forgiven“.

The pasuk is saying that Hashem will raise His face to you, show favor to you and forgive your sins if you “grant peace”, meaning that if you create peace by forgiving others, Hashem will forgive you.

One spoon (weighing) ten (shekalim) of gold filled with incense. (7:27)

May Hashem raise His face toward you and grant you peace. (6:26)
