Rav Meir of Premishlan zy”a explains the word “kaf” to mean “kefifah” (to bend). Thus, the pasuk is saying that if a Yid bends himself one time – meaning that he engages in thoughts of teshuva – he will become “asarah zahav” a “golden Yid”. (The word “asarah” means “ten”. i.e., “yud”, which is a play on words for “a Yid”.)
