...And such is heard from the Heilige mouth of Rav Dov Ber [The Maggid of Mezeritch] ZY”A, to explain the Possuk (Yeshayoh 61:10) “I will rejoice intensely with Hashem, my soul will exult with my G-D”. From this I will rejoice, this is my joy, that I am able to rejoice in Hashem, that I am able to bring happiness to Hashem Yisborach Boruch Hu. And so, it says in the Possuk (Shemos 15:1) “I shall sing to Hashem for He is exalted above the arrogant”. With this actual thing I shall say praise, that Hashem is exalted and elevated with the Shiroh (song). For it is His desire and wish that we Klall Yisroel shall praise Him. As the Ramban says in Parshas Bo, that the main intent of the creation of the world is that Klall Yisroel should gather in the Botei Knesios (Shuls) and say “You are our Creator and to You it is Perfect to Praise. And so, it says (in Tefillas Shabbos Kodesh), “And in the gatherings of the myriads of Your people, the Klall Yisroel, etc.”, “For such is the duty of all the creations, etc.” and so have I explained there in “Hakol Yoduchoh” etc., “Who removes the sun from its place, etc.” That Hashem instructs the sun to be silent, to hear the praises Klall Yisroel is saying. Etc.
