DALED This is the meaning of the verse “Many waters will not be able to extinguish the flame” because due to one’s engagement in the Avodah of prayer both for those who sit in tents and study and also for those that engage in commerce not only does it nullify the ‘Mayim Rabim’ but also all the confusing aggravations that the working people have as well as those that are sitting in tents and studying and in addition as mentioned earlier as a result of the ‘Mayim Rabbim’ one’s Avodah is elevated.

This also explains what is going on at the end of the Possuk. That eventually the ‘Mayim Rabim’ will cause that כָל הוֹן בֵּיתוֹ בָאַהֲבָהאִם יִתֵּן אִישׁ אֶת “If one should give all the wealth of his house for love” the love of בְכָל מְאֹדֶך then בוֹז etc.. he will make light of it” as is explained in Torah Ohr: to the extent that it brings Will cause: A greater connection to HaShem with a greater level of Bittul – Self-nullification where everything that is not HaShem in his life becomes worthless and immaterial and he makes light of even the equity in his home.

The love of בְכָל מְאֹדֶך: בְכָל מְאֹדֶך means beyond his limitation so to love HaShem with everything he has would be to love HaShem with his wealth, by giving away all his wealth for the love of HaShem he is going beyond his limitations. He will make light of it: As he has aligned himself with HaShem and anything that is not HaShem’s very essence is considered by him to be completely immaterial. So he makes light of all the wealth in his house.
