A Segulah for Bitachon: It is stated in Yalkut Mei’am Loa’iz: “Saying Tehillim is a great thing. When one says it, it is as if Dovid himself were saying it. He said it with ruach hakodesh and there is ruach hakodesh amidst the words. And when one says Tehillim, he is arousing that ruach hakodesh with his mouth, to the extent that it is considered as if Dovid himself were saying it. And it is very auspicious to heal the sick and to give a person bitachon in Hashem that through Tehillim he will be saved.”
