The Middas Hadin Cannot Bring Accusations in the Chamber of Tehillim:
Sefer Noam Elimelech (Likutei Shoshana) writes that all tefillos and praises of Hashem connect us to a great Upper World that is called “Tehillah”. This is a world of great light, where the middas hadin has no ability to bring accusations against us and all bad decrees are erased. This is why the songs of Dovid are called “Tehillim” – as they can accomplish anything and the Satan has no ability to obstruct them.
He adds that this is the meaning of the verse (Tehillim 149:1): “Sing to Hashem a new song. His tehillah is in the assemblage of chasidim.” This means that the power of tehillah is in the hands of pious people who Hashem considers to be chasidim.
