No Authority for Others
The Holy One, Blessed be He, assigned nations and lands to various heavenly ministers and emissaries. But over the Land of Israel, no angel or minister has dominion—only G-d Himself. Therefore, He brought a nation over which no other rules into a land that no other rules.

“The land is very, very good.” (Numbers 14:7)
Through entering the land and engaging in the fulfillment of practical mitzvot, one merits the revelation of an exalted light—twice "very".

World to Come
Rabbi Yirmiyah bar Abba said in the name of Rabbi Yochanan: Whoever walks four cubits in the Land of Israel is assured a share in the World to Come.

Seasoned with Everything
Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai says: “Tevel” refers to the Land of Israel, as it is said, “Playing in the tevel of His earth.” (Mishlei 8:31) Why is it called tevel? Because it is seasoned with everything [tevel in Hebrew is related to the word for seasoning]. Other lands have what this one lacks and vice versa, but the Land of Israel lacks nothing, as it is said: “You will lack nothing in it.”
(Sifri)
Measured All the Lands
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai opened: “He stood and measured the earth” – The Holy One, Blessed be He, measured all the lands and found no land worthy to be given to Israel except the Land of Israel.
