Army Notice

The Commander in Chief of the Armies of Israel, a.k.a. HaShem, has issued important instructions for the generals leading His people out to war.

• All Jewish soldiers shall have complete faith in Me that I will lead them to victory.
• Jewish armies may not destroy the enemy’s water supply or fruit trees.
• Jewish armies may not encircle the enemy city entirely but should leave an escape route for those who wish to flee.

The following need not go to battle:

• Anyone recently married, built a home, planted a vineyard or otherwise entered a new stage in life.
• Anyone extremely frightened of battle.
• Anyone who has sinned and therefore fears that he would not succeed.
