When You Have Hashem, You Have It All
Too many of us are busy fearing each other. Even the love that we have is tainted with plenty of fear. “What is his opinion of me? That better stay good! Or else our relationship is over!” That’s not love, that’s fear. Dovid is in a different world. He’s not afraid of anybody. He’s only afraid of the Eibishter. And he loves everybody. That’s a different world. That’s the world of Moshiach. That’s the world of Geula. That’s the world of Bitachon. When you have Hashem, you have it all. You don’t need anything else. You don’t need people’s approval. You don’t need people’s love. You don’t need people’s respect. You don’t need anything. You have it all. You have the Eibishter. And that’s what Dovid is all about. And that’s what we have to aim for. That’s the world of Bitachon. That’s the world of Geula. That’s the world of Moshiach. That’s the world of Dovid. That’s the world of Ahron. That’s the world of Mordechai. That’s the world of the future. And that’s the world of today.
רש"י במסכת ברכות ד ב ( ד"ה זה הסומך ) ואמרינן בברכות ירושלמי , מי שאינו סומך גאולה לתפלה למה הוא דומה, לאוהבו של מלך שבא ודפק על פתחו של מלך, יצא המלך ומצאו שהפליג , אף הוא הפליג, אלא יהיה אדם מקרב להקדוש ברוך הוא אליו ,ומרצהו בתשבחות וקלוסין של יציאת מצרים ,והוא מתקרב אליו ,ובעודו קרוב אליו יש לו לתבוע צרכיו .
