And it was when the singer sang
I called from the United States to mori v’Rebbe, who lives in Eretz Yisrael, in order to ask about a shidduch for my son. He had many hesitations about whether to finalize the shidduch or perhaps the shidduch was not worthwhile. The Rav heard all sides and decided that it was a very good shidduch and that one must finalize the shidduch and not delay such a fitting match.
Toward the end of the conversation, I put it on speakerphone so that my son, the chassan, would hear the clear decision himself. As soon as we heard the decision, we suddenly heard an outburst of singing with the words, “Borei Olam u’konei hakol, zeh ha’binyan.” The Rav said: “See how from Heaven they agree with me that this is a good shidduch, that exactly now HaKadosh Baruch Hu arranged this singing loudly in order to strengthen the decision!!!”
It turned out that the Rav was at the vort for his grandson at that very moment while he was speaking with us, and they were singing that song to their own chassan and kallah.
After the conversation my son, the chassan, said to me: “Abba, the Rav decided, and I received the decision wholeheartedly, but when they began to sing, a complete calm and serenity fell upon me, for this was from Hashem...”
How much HaKadosh Baruch Hu supervises every detail, and especially even which melody will be sung in the background at that very moment and second of decision!!! .ב.ש
