The Kaddish after the reading of the Torah
In honor of the fifth yahrzeit of my sister, of the Eckstein family, her children arranged for the writing and dedication of an elegant Sefer Torah for her merit and for the elevation of her neshama. After the event of bringing in the Sefer Torah, I asked the driver to travel to her resting place on Har HaMenuchos. When we arrived at Har HaMenuchos, there was a huge traffic jam because of a large funeral, and it was not possible to reach her grave.
I said to the driver that since we are already here I will daven near the resting place of mori v’Rebbe, Rabbi Binyamin Rabinowitz zt”l, and the Chid”a, and others. When I finished davening, we saw that the way to my sister’s resting place was now clear. We drove there, and as soon as I got out near the grave, a bus stopped there which let out a large group of young men who had come to daven at a different grave further along the path, and they passed by my sister’s resting place. I asked permission to say Kaddish, and they happily agreed. I said Kaddish with great emotion.
I thanked Hashem and understood that HaKadosh Baruch Hu wanted to grant me the merit of saying Kaddish at her grave, and therefore delayed me by means of the funeral, so that my sister would have Kaddish at her grave... If there is a group there during the daytime it is a miracle, all the more so at ten o’clock at night...
