Three times makes a “Chazakah” – the thing becomes strong, established and everlasting.
Sometimes there are three holy days in a row – Shabbos immediately before or after two days of Yom Tov. (This year, Shabbos is immediately before the first two days of Pesach.)
The “Chazakah” of three is especially connected to Pesach, which has three main things: Pesach (the Passover sacrifice), Matzah and Maror (bitter vegetable).
