A person needs to strengthen himself in emunah and not question at all and not look at the books of the philosophers. Instead, a person should believe in Hashem with pure emunah without any questions at all. And even though it appears to us that the general population [of religious Jews] are far away from questions and they don’t investigate at all, nevertheless, in truth, all of them are mixed up with questions, since each person has questions, and even people with a small intellect have questions and confusion that enters their thoughts. However, in truth, each person needs to be very careful to push away questions from his heart and throw them out of his heart completely – not to analyze at all. Instead, he should believe in Hashem and the true tzaddikim with pure emunah without any questions at all. For we have already merited receiving the holy Torah through Moshe Rabbeinu, and we have already had many great and awesome tzaddikim in every generation, so it is fitting for us to rely on them without any questions and follow in their footsteps – to believe in Hashem with simplicity and to fulfill His Torah and mitzvos in the way that our holy ancestors have given over to us.
