Engaging in Much Prayer

The Way of Emunah | December 31, 2025

No one should ever say that they are not worthy of having their prayers heard. Chazal tell us that tefillah is so powerful that even those who are unworthy are answered.

It is stated in Tana D’Bei Eliyahu (Zuta, Perek 6) that Hashem told Moshe Rabenu: “Moshe, you cannot fully understand My ways but I will let you know some of My ways. When I see people, even if neither they nor their fathers possess the glory of Torah and good deeds, if they just stand, thank, bless and praise Me and engage in much prayer, I listen to them and double their sustenance, as is stated (Tehillim 102:18): ‘He has turned to the prayer of those who cried out, and He did not despise their prayer.’”
