People Tefillin Inheritance

I was doing outreach in the Bal Harbor Shoppes and met a Jew from Odessa (who now lives part-time in Sarasota, Florida and part-time in Chicago). He told me that his grandfather had left him a pair of Tefillin. He has started putting on Tefillin. Although he didn’t have it with him when I met him, he got to do it with me that day because we met! Even though he didn’t have much of a Jewish education, he is connecting to his heritage through Tefillin.
