Routine points of contact have the most impact...how are YOURS doing?

Morning partings, meal times, bed times - these are daily sacred family moments that have profound, enduring impacts on every family member. Speak lovingly and kindly at these times for optimal results. If you can’t do that, then at least don’t yell.

Parents - and probably most other people - are often sleep deprived, overworked....

When you’re feeling tired (drained, exhausted, low energy, blah) taking a few slow, DEEP breaths will restore your energy, and if you’re willing to take a few more, will also elevate your mood!

It’s easy and natural to get caught up in the moment, to feel as if a serious emergency is occurring when really, it’s just .....

Stay calm by remembering that the child in front of you who isn’t cooperating at the moment will be - in a flash - an adult friend of yours. Especially if you don’t yell right now. Step aside from the moment and wait for it.
