Nissim Every Day

A very poor man once came to the Chazon Ish zt”l and cried that his situation was so bad that his only salvation would be a miracle but Chazal say “lav b’chol yomei misrachesh nisa. (Miracles don’t happen every day.)” (Pesachim 50B).

The Chazon Ish told him, “That’s not how you’re supposed to read the Gemara. It actually says: Lav. B’chol yomei misrachesh nisa. No! Miracles do happen every day!”
