Yosef Trusted Only in Hachem

Rav Menachem Mendel of Rimanov zy”a (Sefer Ilna D’Chayei) asks why the pasuk seems to repeat itself, first saying that he “didn’t remember” Yosef, and then saying that he “forgot him.” He answers that it actually means that Yosef forgot. Yosef forgot about the minister of drink and placed his trust solely on Hashem.
