People who have come close to true tzaddikim should encourage and inspire each other, and the main encouragement comes from the immense power of the great tzaddik, who can uplift even the most broken soul that has not yet attained a hairsbreadth of kedushah. The tzaddik has the strength to elevate and renew even him. This is the main chizuk: even the worst person—no matter who he is and what he’s going through—as long as he holds on to the true tzaddik, he has incredible hope for all eternity.
The followers of the tzaddik should also inspire and encourage each other in avodas Hashem, reminding themselves of all the good advice that they know and understand—each person according to what he has received from his rebbe.
