In particular, Rebbe Nachman says that there are three aspects of splendor that Hashem receives from us. In a general sense, Hashem is proud of the Jewish people as whole. In addition, He gets specific nachas from every individual Jew. Not only that, but He also has pleasure from every specific movement and act of kedushah of each Jew.
When we contemplate these three aspects of splendor, we can find incredible advice on how to always maintain a connection to Hashem’s love for us. It is often difficult to remember that Hashem is proud of us when we are going through a hard time. One simple way to do so is to stop thinking about ourselves for a little while and focus on the incredible splendor that Hashem receives from the existence of the Jewish people in the world.
Then, we should consider that we too are part of this very holy nation. Through this, we begin to recognize that Hashem gets nachas from each one of us individually. Afterward, we should imagine the gratification Hashem has from every good thought, word, deed, and yearning for Him. We should list all the positive things we do and think about how much pride each of these points gives Hashem.
