A Beautiful Home

Jewish women have an integral part in making the world a home for G-d – the women and girls make it a beautiful home (just like women make their own homes beautiful). This is especially seen in the three special Mitzvos that were given to the Jewish women:

• Lighting Shabbos and Yom Tov candles brings a visible light and beauty to the home, illuminating the home and family with the light and holiness of “candle is a Mitzvah and Torah is light”.
• Making sure the food and drinks are Kosher positively affects a person’s nature because food becomes a part of the person.
• Family purity makes the family life pure, beautiful and healthy both physically and spiritually.
