Lighting Shabbos and Yom Tov candles lights up the home and family with beautiful, holy light of Torah and Mitzvos.

Kosher food affects a person’s nature; it becomes part of the body.

Keeping the laws of family purity makes the family life pure and beautiful, with both physical and spiritual health.

The mother educates the children from infancy with gentleness and love, instilling in them pleasure and warmth in Judaism so they observe Torah and Mitzvos in a beautiful and good way. For example, Jewish mothers have the custom to sing to their babies in the cradle about how the Torah is the best, sweetest, most beautiful thing. This makes them love Torah and Mitzvos even when they grow old.

G-d did “Tzedakah” by scattering the Jewish People among the nations of the world. By being scattered around the world, we elevate the nations with our Torah and Mitzvos in their lands. And then Moshiach will have nations gathered around him!
