Moshiach Insight You are Saying the Word of G-d

Living Moshiach | December 10, 2025

In this week’s Torah portion, we read the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments are also repeated by Moshe in a later Torah portion. The two times represent the two things for us to be aware of when we learn Torah:

1. We are actually saying the word of G-d whenever we learn Torah! It is as if He is speaking through us. Whenever we learn Torah, we should feel the same trembling awe that we felt at the event of the Giving of the Torah!

2. The Torah was given to you down here in this world, a soul in a body. You need to exist, learn Torah and try to understand it with your mind, to the point that it becomes “your” Torah.
