("And Moshe gave the redeemed money to Aharon and his sons, as per the Word of Hashem, like Hashem commanded Moshe." Bamidbar 3:51)

Asks the Ohr haChaim haKadosh: After the verse said that Moshe did like Hashem had said, why do we have to add "like Hashem commanded Moshe." Did we not say this already?

Says the Ohr haChaim haKadosh: When a person does something for a relative, there can many times be ulterior motives (like looking for kavod and human recognition...), since they are related. For this the verse specifies that what Moshe did was purely for the sake of Hashem.

This is exactly what the Chovos haLevavos (Sha'ar haBitachon 4:3) says, that all "interpersonal" commandments (mitzvos bein adam lachaveiro) are actually just between "man and Hashem" (bein adam lamakom). Bottom line: stop worshipping people! (See Chovos haLevavos Sha'ar Yichud haMa'aseh).

And says the Chovos haLevavos: If one does for others for their sake, he will not succeed. However, if one does for others purely for Hashem's sake, then Hashem will help him in turn, and he will see tremendous success in all that he does, guaranteed.
