A Chronically Unhappy Child Needs More Than Just Your Love

A chronically upset, angry or fearful child is not a thriving child. If he's in a negative state a lot of the time then, just like an adult who is experiencing chronic stress, he isn't "okay." However, adults who are struggling emotionally often seek some sort of relief such as medical, naturopathic or psychological treatment. Children, on the other hand, may be viewed as being "just normal kids" or perhaps "misbehaving" kids, when they aren't in a balanced state and parents may not think that they need "treatment" beyond regular parenting. Keep in mind that emotionally thriving kids look like emotionally thriving grownups: motivated, interested, focused, positive, calm and optimistic. To get them there, consider the same interventions you would consider for yourself or your spouse, including professional help and dietary and lifestyle changes.

Here's the easy, effective way to improve your relationships TODAY....

LOOK, LISTEN, NOD. When your spouse is speaking to you - look, listen, nod. When your child is speaking to you - look, listen, nod. Improve your family relationships, build trust, convey love and strengthen your bonds with the magic of: LOOK, LISTEN, NOD.
