Thousands of hours of Torah learning are being pledged by Jews worldwide ahead of Gimmel Tammuz in honor of fallen kedoshim and for the safety of Am Yisrael. We are all part of the family of Am Yisrael, and at times, the pain and uncertainty can leave us feeling helpless. In moments of chal-lenge the Rebbe urged Jews to streng-then themselves and the world around them through Torah and mitzvot.
Mayanot Yeshiva recently launched a Charidy campaign unlike any other: not to raise money, but to raise hours of Torah learning. The Torah Chal-lenge, which began on Shavuot and will run through Gimmel Tamuz, the Rebbe's yahrtzeit, was created to em-power every Jew to take part in the protection, healing, and spiritual strengthening of the Jewish people. Every hour pledged will be matched by students at Mayanot in Jerusalem.
The campaign is dedicated l'iluy nish-mat four kedoshim: Moshe Shmuel Noll, Yinon Fleishman, Mos Katz and Yaakov Levitan. Visitors to the campaign page can learn more about these heroes and their legacy.
We are living through historic times. As we speak, Israel is being attacked by our enemies, soldiers are still fighting on the front lines, citizens are being called up to multiple rounds of reserve duty, and YOUR Torah is the armor that protects them. Every hour counts. Every word matters. Sign up now at: MayanotTorahChallenge.org
