Becoming Yidden of Yerushalayim Above Yerushalayim in Their Hearts

When we lament the loss of Yerushalayim, we aren’t referring only to the Yerushalayim in place; we’re crying for the Yerushalayim in Jewish hearts!

Yerushalayim isn’t merely a physical place. It’s a level of kedushah that we must analyze in order to serve the Ribbono shel Olam in a manner of “Yerushalayim.” When Klal Yisrael doesn’t serve the Ribbono shel Olam in a bechinah of Yerushalayim, then everything goes to ground, even the place called Yerushalayim.

And when Yidden rebuild their personal Yerushalayim within their nefesh, the Yerushalayim in the world will be rebuilt as well, may it happen speedily in our days.
