The Only True Simcha in A Persons Life Is Ruchaniyus

This is why it’s so important to learn Torah on Chanukah. We have to turn on all kinds of lights, since Chazal call Yavan: ךְשֶ חֹ darkness. And a: נֵר candle is also a symbol for a Neshama, as it says: נֵר ה' נִשְמַת אָדָם משלי כ כז the soul of a person is the candle of Hashem. A Neshama is Ruchaniyus and is the only true Simcha in a person’s life, like R' Desler Zatzal says the only true Simcha is Ruchaniyus! Gashmiyus is dirty, like the: אָרֶץ ground, and on Sukkos, during Z’man Simchaseinu we read Koheles, whose message is: הֶבֶל הַבָלִים that the pleasures of this world are all nothing.
