One Who Recognizes His Place is Rewarded Twice

Sefer Chashbah L’Tova quotes Rav Bunim of Peshischa zy”a as explaining this to mean that “if a person finds the stolen object in his hands”, meaning that he recognizes the truth about himself and realizes where he is holding, and does not fool himself into thinking that he is great, then “chaim” (a reference to Hashem, who lives eternally) will reward him doubly.
