Insight → Like Seventy Years Old
Rabbi Elazar ben Azaryah was very young when he was appointed as the leader of the Jewish People. G-d made a miracle and gave him white hair so he would look old, befitting his position. He said that he was “like seventy years old”. This meant that he had reached a level at which he had refined all seven emotional attributes completely. This gave him the power to help Jews bring “exodus”, freedom from limitations, even in the darkness of exile, and even to bring a taste of the ultimate Redemption through Moshiach! In our times, our lives will continue straight into the eternal life of the Redemption, with no interruption. Our lives include the Redemption through Moshiach!
