A young man went to the end of the event where the massacre happened, to pick up friends. When he arrived, he saw what was happening and ran for his life. He eventually reached the city of Netivot and spent the rest of the holiday in a bomb shelter where a group of Jews had a Torah scroll with them. He was very shaken up and grateful to G-d for miraculously saving his life. He has been growing more and more in his Torah observance.
