One year, during the Seder of the Riyatz of Lubavitch zy”a, when the Haggadah was being recited and the Rebbe reached the words “V’nitzak el Elokeinu. (And we cried out to our G-d)”, he said, “Some people say that if we had a leader like Moshe Rabenu today, we would be redeemed. They are mistaken. The redemption is not being delayed because we are lacking a Moshe Rabenu. When Klal Yisroel was in Mitzrayim, Hashem sent them Moshe Rabenu only after they cried out to Him. The same applies to us. If we would cry out to Hashem, He would then send us a Moshe Rabenu to redeem us.”
