The pasuk states (Tehillim 51:19): “A broken and lowly heart, Elokim will not shame.” It is said in the name of the Ruzhiner Rebbe zy”a that when a person has a broken heart, even the middas hadin (which is symbolized by Hashem’s name of Elokim) will have mercy on him and it will not shame him.
