Not Always Do Bad Middos Need to Be Completely Eliminated

Sometimes you have to go all out to destroy a bad Midda, like a Korban Olah that gets completely “consumed” and burned on the Mizbeach. And other times you hold on to the Gashmiyus and potential evil, and channel it to be used in a positive way, like a Sh’lamim, where you eat most of it, and enjoy your Gashmiyus.
