The posuk tells us (8:5):

וַיֹֹּ֥אמֶר מֹשֶֶׁ֖ה אֶל-הָָּֽעֵדָָּ֑ה זֶֶ֣ה הַדָּבָָּ֔ר אֲשֶר-צִוָֹּּ֥ה ה' לַָֽעֲשָֽוֹת:

(And Moshe said to the people that "this" is what Hashem told us to do.)

Asks the Ohr haChaim haKadosh z"l: Isn’t it obvious that everything being said over here is from Hashem? Why does the posuk have to mention it specifically?

So says the Ohr haChaim: What about Korach? What about all of those that "started up" with the holy Moshe Rabbeinu. And Rebbi Isaac Sher z"l actually said that their "reasoning" for their "troublemaking" was because they were convinced that since Moshe is such a great person, Hashem "must" go along with whatever he may so desire. So that is what this posuk is coming to say: "No! Everything came purely straight from Hashem Himself!"

One more thing: Rebbi Avigdor Miller z"l said that as bad and heretical it is to "materialize" Hashem and think that He is essentially "physical" (meaning something limited), there is something even worse: to live a life with Hashem being just an "abstract concept" and a "word in the siddur" with nothing to do with my actually life, without any positive connection with Him. Our number one job is to make Hashem "real" and make people and the whole laws of nature "fake"! (See Chovos haLevavos Shaar Yichud haMaaseh).
