However, as long as the ‘supernal Loven’ is in its illumination down here in this world it is impossible for a person’s Avodah to be in a complete way. This is because as the Talmud discusses: Inappropriate behaviour in front of the king, will be punishable by death.

Therefore, the Possuk states a little further on; “And ‘Lovon’ went and returned to his place and ‘Yaacov’ went on his way,” because only after the ‘supernal Loven’ ascends and departs above can the B’nei Yisroel do their Avodah in a complete way.

And it can even be said that this itself is exactly the reason why “Lovon returned to his place” why the ‘supernal Loven’ departed to his place above since the ultimate purpose is that a person should perform his Avodah therefore “the ‘Loven’ returned to his place,” to allow the possibility that a person’s Avodah be complete.
