Yaakov and Family Welcomed

Yaakov Isaacson of the Land of Canaan has arrived in Egypt along with 69 members of his family. They were warmly welcomed by top government officials, including Pharaoh himself and the king’s top adviser, Yosef.

“We are shepherds,” said the newcomers. “We understand that the Egyptians are not thrilled about our sheep business. However, we’re going to live in the faraway land of Goshen, where there are plenty of pastures and few prying eyes.”
