Your complete guide to this week's halachos and minhagim.

Shabbos Parshas Vayishlach, 13 Kislev 5785

For today’s haftorah, Chazon Ovadyah is read (Ovadyah 1:1–21).

Sunday 14 Kislev, 5785

Sunday night is the last night to recite Kiddush Levanah, which may be said until 11:11 p.m. Jerusalem time.

On this Day

Today marks the anniversary of the wedding of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin in 5689 (1928).

“This is the day when I became connected to you, and you to me. Together, we will work hard and bring the true and complete geulah.”
(Sichah of 14 Kislev, 5714—Toras Menachem vol. 10, p. 206)

Thursday 18 Kislev, 5785

Today we complete the annual cycle of the study of Tanya (and Hayom Yom).

Make sure to conclude the masechta you selected last year for chalukas hashas.

“Gut Yom Tov! May you be written and sealed for a good year in the study of Chassidus and the ways of Chassidus!”
