Aharon Hakohen and the Elevation of the Seven Types of Yisroel

Aharon Hakohen is the one who kindles these lights. As the Possuk states: בְּהַעֲלֹתְּךָ אֶת־הַנֵּרֹת that Aharon affects and influences an ascent in all the seven types of Yisroel. Because Aharon is one of the seven shepherds that influence every Yiddishe Neshomoh. And his job amongst Yisroel is that he: בְּהַעֲלֹתְּךָ אֶת־הַנֵּרֹת elevates the lights.

So in order to explain the virtue of Aharon’s effect on the Neshomos of Yisroel. In the Maamor in Likkutei Torah the Alter Rebbe explains Aharon’s contribution in addition to that which already existed before him.
