The Tanya tells us that every sin creates a blemish in the soul. When a person puts his own priorities aside and does not think of himself, but rather of others, he elevates himself above his natural state. Both putting himself aside and not thinking higher than it, nevertheless, since it could be, worry may prevent a person from getting involved. Anyone can get involved with it, and no dominion—an animal cannot have control over a person unless the person appears like an animal.
